About the Gallery
Footprint Gallery at Fusion is a purpose-built exhibition space in Jackfield in the Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire.
The gallery stands in the grounds of Jackfield Tile Museum and is located within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage site. Since February 2022 local artists Rod Sheppard and Jan Park have been engaging with Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust to develop a programme of art exhibitions and events in the gallery.
Meet the team
Rod and Jan are both volunteers and professional artists, with experience in education and community arts.
They are committed to the promotion of visual arts and their importance to the life and culture of this creative area in the UK. Footprint Gallery is now a not-for-profit organisation.
Jackfield Arts Quarter
Our vision is to establish a wider Arts Quarter encompassing Jackfield, Ironbridge and the surrounding area, which will form a platform for local and emerging artists - highlighting this rich cultural landscape and boost the local economy.
Through collaboration, community engagement and a commitment to supporting the arts, we can transform this region into a thriving haven for artists, a vibrant destination for tourists, and a source of pride for all who call this area home.

There is a small car park on site. Look out for the Jackfield Tile Museum, you will find us based just behind it.
