Calling all artists
We are pleased to announce that artwork applications for our 1st Spring Open 2024 are now open!
No matter where you are, what age you are, whether a practising artist or someone who likes to create art in your spare time, we would love to hear from you.
What type of work will we accept? Painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, illustration - whatever your art form we are keen to take a look.
How many pieces can I enter? Maximum 6 pieces
Is there a theme? There is no specific theme. So long as you love the artwork yourself, we are pretty sure we will like it too.
Can a young person enter? No, unfortunately you must be over 18 to enter.
Who will be judging? The Footprint Management team will make the selections. Our aim is to select 100 - 150 artworks for the exhibition.
How will I know if my artwork has been selected? We regret that we will not be able to accept every entry. All successful artwork entries will be notified by Wednesday 15th May.
When is the last artwork submission date? Wednesday 10th May
Where will the exhibition take place? Footprint Gallery, Fusion, Church Road, Jackfield, TF8 7AP.
Footprint Gallery is a large, contemporary, white walled gallery situated within the heart of the Ironbridge World Heritage site. The gallery has been part of the Secret Severn Art Trail for the past eight years with great success for all those involved.
When will I know if I have been successful? Wednesday 15th May
What date do I hand in my work? Monday 10th June, Tuesday 11th June, Wednesday 12th June
What date is the exhibition? The Open Exhibition will run from 14th - 30th June
What are the Exhibition Opening Times? Thursday - Sunday 10:30am - 4pm
How much does it cost to enter?
£10for 1 Entry
£5 for each additional work, maximum 6 works
How to I pay for entry? Payment is to be made by BACS - PAYMENT TO BE MADE AT TIME OF ENTRY

How much commission does the gallery take? 25%
All work entered must remain available for sale until the end of the exhibition at 2pm on Sunday 30th June.
What if the buyer asks for a discount?
The gallery will offer 5% if a buyer asks, if this is not accepted by the buyer the team will contact the artist to negotiate.
Each successful artist will be entered into a draw to win a free week exhibiting at Footprint Gallery at a date to be agreed between the artist and gallery.
When do I collect my work? Sunday 30th June after 2pm. PLEASE NOTE: It will not be possible to collect work before this time.
