Printmakers at Footprint
Footprint Gallery are again hosting a spectacular fair for nationwide printmakers. This is an 10 day event with each exhibitor having their own dedicated space to arrange and curate as they wish. Alongside the exhibition we will be running a series of day and half day workshops hosted by a variety of well established artists, designers and printmakers. Applications for both exhibiting and running a workshop will be open very soon in 2026.

Weave Only A Trace: Journey
November 18-30, 2025
Open daily 10am-4pm
Free entry
This exhibition will feature the work of 12 regional artist-makers showcasing the diverse range of uses and interpretations of willow, wood and natural fibres. There will be traditional and heritage baskets on show, alongside sculptural and contemporary pieces. Throughout the exhibition, there will be daily weaving demonstrations from our artist-makers and a pop-up shop where you can buy unique handcrafted items.
As part of the 'Journey' exhibition a range of creative workshops and events will be available to book online. Building on the popularity of last year's sessions - which included festive decoration making and basket weaving - this year's programme will offer more opportunities to explore traditional techniques and natural materials in an accessible, enjoyable way.
All our workshops are suitable for beginners, and are designed to give you a meaningful hands-on experience and a chance to learn directly from the makers.

Lynne Wixon
..Lynne Wixon - INDUSTRIAL
An Exhibition of Industrial Paintings
The exhibition is a celebration of Lynne’s 40 year career as a practicing painter.
The paintings reflect her fascination with all things engineered and her deep connection to the Industrial revolution.
Lynne was born in Wolverhampton and has lived most of her life in in Sheffield and North Yorkshire.
"I have a fascination with all things engineered. I explore the accidental aesthetics of the functional, and look for something other, something beautiful.
I hope my paintings will cause someone to take a second look at the industrial, and see something new in it."
